"Yellow Sunrise" by Nathaniel Harrington

It's not often enough that Southern California gets a clear sunrise and waves on the same day. I've been checking every morning, setting the alarm to 5am to see what the sky is doing. Most days end up with a walk and time spent with God as the clouds creap over blocking out the rising light.. but thats not half bad. Then every once in a while the clouds burn off quick and the morning glory shines. Ah, I love it. Its a lot more work to get the right shot than I ever thought it would be, but so worth it.

I hope you enjoy as much as I do. :)

Morning Colors are Alive!! by Nathaniel Harrington

I'll shoot till my arm falls off.

I had such an amazing time shooting barrels yesterday morning in Newport. It was my first session here in California where there were no clouds blocking out the morning light. I couldn't believe the colors I was seeing in the faces of these waves!! It was one of those morning where I couldn't stop laughing even though I was all by myself, just had way too much fun shooting and thanking God for the Ocean! And so much to be thankful for! Check out the gallery below, I think you will enjoy the images from this session.

I haven't mentioned on my blog yet, but all these images can be ordered as prints! You can find my email on the side bar of this site. :) please feel free to contact me.

thanks!

De LightFull Morning! by Nathaniel Harrington

Here's A gallery of Images from Yesterday's Morning shoot at the Wedge.

I was a little bummed out to find it overcast early, but then the sun peaked out just for about 15min or so, enough time to score some great shots! The size was there and the water was glassy, perfect conditions.

thanks for looking. :)
