Panama with Brock Taylor. by Nathaniel Harrington

This spring I went on a trip with Brock Taylor and my wife Tatum. We headed down south to Panama where we enjoyed a blacksand beach, fish tacos, and some pumping surf.

I created an Adobe Slate to tell the story as well as adding a video edit from the help of Tatum.

Check it out here.

Enjoy and thank you for visiting my website.

Sebastian Inlet from the Pier. by Nathaniel Harrington

The other day at Sebastian Inlet i wanted to shoot from the pier, a perspective that I hadn't shot before. It seemed like a pretty good day for it, fair weather and a south wind, and the pier wasn't full of fishermen giving me a little room to move around.

I shot these angles and am pretty happy with them! We watched a monster snook get pulled in, and enjoyed the bloody mess that the pier can be when fish are being caught.

Enjoy the photos,

A short Instagram edit I made inspired by the snook.

Lively up there... River had a blast running around, chasing birds, and checking out people's fish.

I briefly moved down to the beach in time to get brock Taylor on a big cutty. Then finished the day with Zoe and Andrew.

Always Fun.

Thanks for checking out the blog and enjoy the rest of my site.

Maddie Peterson by Nathaniel Harrington

With summer upon us Maddie and myself think its time for you to take every extra step and protect your skin!

Maddie Peterson was in town a month ago for the WSL Pro Jr in Cocoa Beach. She was kind enough to model a few shots for me and SunBum. Limited on windows to shoot we had to go for the middle of the day harsh light conditions, which is always challenging, but then again it does make pretty good sense for sunscreen.

Maddie is a beautiful person and an awesome surfer rising in the ranks of women's professional surfing as well as professional modeling. Make sure to follow her feed @maddiepeterson_ and enjoy the photos!

Portraits of Maddie Peterson in Cocoa Beach, Fl for SunBum

One of my favorites, the 30 SPF zinc facestick. This product works better than any other sunscreen I have used. Thanks SunBum!

Again thanks Maddie for the shots and smiles and thank you SunBum for all you do for the surfing community! Protect your skin!

April Swell Part One by Nathaniel Harrington

where did da waves go man?

Crazy days.

We all saw the forecast for this swell at least two weeks out and boy did it look promising for a few of those first days. Surfline called for 9-11ft at first, then it dropped to 1-3ft with bad winds, then about the day of the swell it called for 4-5ft with occasional 7ft and solid off shore winds. Thats when we all got hyped and started to lose our minds and that is when the alarm clocks go off at 4am and the coffee gets brewed on triple strength. Haha, typical FL stuff... The real story always unfolds when you walk up to the sand and get your first sight of whats really happening.

No complaints from me on what turned out to truthfully be a 1-3 ft day with really strong offshore winds. It let us down a little in the morning, but we literally spent the entire day trying to find what we were looking for, and all that time spent searching turned into an honest day's work with a great reward, as usual I would say.

Check out the gallery of Central Florida having yet one more super fun day this winter.

I imagine myself sounding like a WSL announcer saying "Oh Chauncey Robinson with a layback jam in the pocket, perfect finish there potz"

Chauncey Robinson getting fins free on his backhand.

The real locals, surfing as they always do.

Jade Morgan.

Wiley Robinson joined us on his 21st birthday and cracked a few off the top.

Wiley Robinson Layback.

Happy Birthday Barrel for this guy.

Chauncey Robinson finding that rare gem, one of the better barrels we have linked up on in this spot.

Jade Morgan making sure he found a barrel as well.

the whip.

It was one of those days with a lot of down time waiting for tides and such. So i got to hang out with the boys, eat eggs and bacon, and enjoy this FL lifestyle we get to live. Tough days to be a kid.

This may not be a perfect a-frame but if this doesn't look appealing to you then there is something wrong. I'm amazed walking down to the beach most of the time, especially when the water, sky and land look like this!

What a day to enjoy.

This is labeled as part one because there is a part two. Later this day we ended back at Sebastian Inlet and well you'll have to check back in to see what happened there.

Thanks so much for taking a look,

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service: Save our Indian River Lagoon by Nathaniel Harrington

I just signed the petition, "U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service: Save our Indian River Lagoon."

Why? Because I do think that the sooner we can raise awareness and halt major pollution from entering into the Indian River the better of a future all the fine people of this area will have.

I signed the petition, you can also.

Thanks,
