Christmas break surf has been pretty fun! I was able to get a really good evening and morning mesh at Sebastian Inlet recently. The colors are what really get me! Florida has some beautiful seasons to enjoy!

It's not always my focus to try to shoot the wedging barrel that takes place at first peak, but it sure can look nice when its right! Here's Wiley tucking in on a fun backlit one.

ASF Surf Comp at Paradise Park. / December 15, 2014 by Nathaniel Harrington

This last weekend I had the opportunity to check out local surfing at the ASF Surf Comp in Indiatlantic. The surf was a pretty melo but we were blessed with very light winds! It made for a great day. The gross were all frothing and fired up!

Here's some shots I got.

Surfers include Luke Marks, Zach Marks, Chauncey Robinson, Wiley Robinson, Blake Speir, and Tommy Coleman. There were a couple more in there who I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet..

Its great to see the surf community in Florida thriving like this! Great kids and great surfers!

There is more of this to come.. Today is not this projects day. But here is a preview and the only reason I am posting these are so that this doesn't get forgotten too easily.

Huge thanks to Wiley, Chauncey and Eddie for surfing and letting me shoot.

Enjoy the change of scenery. Its all kind of the same but it was a test trial so go easy. These kids rip!!

Progression is fun.

Hey Guys!

Better to post about it later than never I guess... Here's a few shots that I have acquired from the past few weeks or so. Not sure which ones have been posted on Social Media, but its always more fun to see them on a larger screen anyways, right?! I've been meaning to post about this last month and all its swell stories but one thing has just led to another. So I finally gathered together a couple of my favorite shots and am about to tell you about them. So check it out!

After getting into the water, same day as above photo, this is the reward. Perfection.

One more from the above day. Sometimes these insiders get that foam on the face of the wave and I really like it. I'd give it a thumbs up if I could. Anyways, love the pier angle on this shot too! That was a great morning.

We watched as he pulled it in onto the sand and just about every surfer in the line-up began to yell, "Let It Go!!". That was rad.

It was all just lost in the scramble to upload the photos to the computer as fast as I can so that I have card space to get back into the water and keep shooting.

I love my daughter! She one year and her favorite thing to do is go to the beach! Amazing. Tv, movies, none of that keeps her attention. The one thing that does is the ocean! She stairs at the sea and it takes a lot of work keeping her from just charging right into the Shorebreak. Can't wait to teach her how to surf!
